2025 Women's Soccer Postseason Awards Announced
The MCCAA announced Tuesday (Nov. 4) the association's 2025 Women's Soccer Awards following a vote of the league's head coaches. Isabella Workman of Delta College took home top honors as MCCAA Player of the Year, while teammate Alahna Beckett earned Freshman of the Year honors and Damon Amey garnered Coach of the Year distinction.
The trio of superlative awards follows the latest impressive season for Delta as the Pioneers—the top-ranked team in NJCAA Division III and defending national champions—earned the program's latest MCCAA Championship behind a 9-0-0 conference record. Amey also earned Region XII Division III Coach of the Year honors after Delta captured this year's Region XII DIII title.
Kellogg's Taylor Havilar earned top keeper honors after posting a stellar freshman campaign between the sticks.
Region XII Division II Coach of the Year honors went to Schoolcraft head man Ken Shingledecker following Sunday's Region Championship triumph.
