Cross of Delta College grabs MCCAA Women's Soccer Player of the Week honors

Tristen Cross of Delta College has been named the MCCAA Women's Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week for the period ending Aug. 27, it was announced on Tuesday.

The sophomore from Hastings, Mich., helped Delta sweep Muskegon Community College with 14 saves in 180 minutes of action. In a 5-0 win on Wednesday, Cross made six stops. Three days later, she registered eight saves in a thrilling 2-1 victory.
