97 Programs Named MCCAA Academic Teams After Posting 3.0+ Team GPA

What a year in the classroom across the MCCAA as a grand total of 97 teams earned MCCAA Academic Team status. To achieve MCCAA Academic Team status, a MCCAA sponsored sport must record a 3.0 or above cumulative team GPA throughout the current academic year. Kirtland Community College won the 2024-25 Academic School of the Year with six of their seven programs posting 3.0+ team GPAs while all ranked either first or second in their respective sport. Muskegon Community College had nine teams net a 3.0+ GPA, Jackson College followed with eight and Mott Community College checked in with seven teams earning the distinction to round out the list of team GPA leaders for the 2024-25 academic year.
